The Gatehouse Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing a gift card for The Gatehouse Luxury Farmstay at The Gatehouse. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

1. Validity

• Gift vouchers are valid for two (2) years from the date of purchase, unless a longer period is stated on the voucher.
• The expiry date is shown on the voucher and cannot be extended unless required by law.

2. Minimum Stay Requirement

• Gift vouchers are redeemable only for bookings that meet The Gatehouse’s minimum stay requirement of two (2) consecutive nights.
• Any stay that does not meet the minimum booking requirement will not be eligible for redemption.

3. Redemption

• Gift vouchers may be redeemed only for accommodation at The Gatehouse, located in Glamorgan Vale.
• Redemption is subject to availability at the time of booking.
• Vouchers may be used when booking directly through The Gatehouse website or by contacting us directly.
• Voucher codes must be quoted at the time of booking.

4. Voucher Value

• If the booking total exceeds the value of the voucher, the remaining balance must be paid at the time of booking.
• If the booking total is less than the voucher value, the unused balance will remain available until the original expiry date unless otherwise stated.
• Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and no cash change will be given.

5. Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Vouchers may be transferred to another recipient, but may not be resold without written consent.

6. Booking Conditions

• All bookings made using a gift voucher are subject to The Gatehouse’s standard booking terms, house rules, and cancellation policy.
• Peak periods, public holidays, and special event dates may attract higher nightly rates. Additional charges may apply if the booking value exceeds the voucher amount.

7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Vouchers

• Treat gift vouchers like cash.
• Lost, stolen, or deleted vouchers may not be replaced unless satisfactory proof of purchase is provided.

8. Cancellation and Changes

• If a booking made using a gift voucher is cancelled, any refund or credit will be handled in accordance with The Gatehouse’s standard cancellation policy.
• Any credit issued will retain the original voucher expiry date.

9. Fraud and Misuse

• The Gatehouse reserves the right to cancel any voucher that is altered, duplicated, or used fraudulently.

10. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
